What are my membership benefits and when do they begin?

Trefethen members receive a 20% savings on Signature and Small-Lot wines & 10% on library offerings, along with $5 ground shipping on orders of 6 or more bottles, complimentary tasting experiences, access to member-only wines, and much more!  Benefits begin with the purchase of your first shipment, and continue for as long as you remain an active member.


How do I enjoy my complimentary tasting benefits?

Complimentary tasting benefits for up to 4 guests per visit, and member-pricing on Villa experiences become available for use after you have received your first shipment. How do I access my member account?

Please click “Sign In” at the upper left corner of the website, and enter your email address and password to start enjoying your exclusive member savings online! You can also access your member profile, update your shipping address or billing details, and view your order history.


Will I receive advanced notice of upcoming shipments?

We send email notifications approximately 14 days prior to charging your account for an upcoming shipment, and again 2 days prior. This is your opportunity to customize your shipment, update your account information, or delay your shipment. We are unable to accept changes once your account has been billed.


How do I add or customize the bottles in my shipment?

This How-To Video is a great resource. We’ll also include a direct link to available wines in each shipment email notification. If you don’t see a particular bottle that you were hoping to add, please contact our team at 707-255-7700 or


I am planning to travel this season. Can I postpone my upcoming shipment?

Absolutely. You are welcome to phone us at 707-255-7700 or send an email to with your requested ship date. If you’re within 14 days of your next shipment, you also have the option to skip your shipment by logging into your online member account.


What happens if my order is returned?

Shipping to a business address is highly recommended to ensure successful delivery on the first attempt. Most carriers will make three delivery attempts before returning your package. If a shipment is returned, we will contact you to schedule a new delivery date. Additional shipping charges may apply.


Can I re-order an individual wine if I really enjoyed it?

Yes! We encourage you to take advantage of your member benefits year-round at, and enjoy special access to current release wines including our Legacy Collection, library selections, large format bottlings, and gifting options.


How are my wines shipped?

For all states except HI and AK, wines are typically sent via ground shipping and arrive within 1-7 business days, depending on your location. Temperature-controlled “cold-chain” shipping is used where available during warmer months. An adult signature is required for all wine shipments, and we highly recommend shipping to a business address. Expedited shipping options are available for an additional fee.


What states can you ship to?

We can ship to all states except AR, IN, KY, MS, and UT. Shipments to Delaware and Rhode Island are permitted only when wine is purchased on-site at the winery.


I’m a local. Can I pick up my wines?

We are happy to accommodate pick-up requests for our local members. Arrangements must be made directly with our team, and in advance of your account being billed. We ask that all shipments be picked up within 45 days. If you are unable to pick up within that time frame, we will automatically ship your wines to your address on file.
