A tribute to a beloved member of the Trefethen family, High Fives Cabernet Sauvignon honors the families spirited horse, who lived an extraordinary 36 years, 31 years of those at Hillspring. High Fives was known for his grace, strength, and enduring spirit. He often grazed and sunbathed in the very block that now bears his name. Today, that same patch of Hillspring Vineyard produces fruit of extraordinary depth and balance. With only 98 cases crafted, this small-lot Cabernet celebrates the enduring connection between our land, our family, and the stories that live on through every vintage.

Born from the rocky slopes of our Hillspring Vineyard, High Fives Cabernet Sauvignon embodies both strength and grace. Aromas of raspberry, forest floor, and dark chocolate unfold with subtle notes of bay and tobacco. On the palate, layers of black cherry and cassis mingle with hints of bay laurel, revealing a wine that is fresh, vibrant, and impeccably balanced.
