Pinot Noir is a delicate grape, famously reflective of the place and people that grow it. Made with a gentle touch, this carefully crafted small-lot wine reveals the distinctive character of our estate vineyards.

The Vintage

Ample rainfall in the spring recharged the soil profile and provided a strong start to the growing season. The weather during the summer featured consistent warmth and sunshine without any major heat spells. Cooler than average temperatures in August and September slowed the ripening process, providing long hang time and leading to complex flavor development. October was mostly dry and warmer than usual allowing us to pick each block at optimal ripeness. The harvest was complete before November and the start of an epic rainy season.

The Wine

Youthful and fresh, this wine offers red fruit flavors of raspberry, cherry, and freshly picked strawberries followed by soft floral notes of lavender and hints of toasty oak. This bright, balanced wine delivers a long mouthwatering finish that will leave you wanting more.

Food Affinities

This versatile wine pairs beautifully with roasted meats or grilled trout. Winery Chef Chris Kennedy suggests adding sautéed red peppers, mushrooms, and a sprig of thyme to your dish, which will bring out the savory characteristics of this incredible Pinot Noir.
