Vibrant and refreshing, this is the most transparent wine we make, a pure expression of our estate vineyards. We produced our first Riesling in 1974, made in a distinctively dry and crisp style. It has been a family favorite ever since. Bright and aromatic, it is marvelously food-friendly and cellar-worthy.

The Vintage

Record-breaking winter rains filled our reservoirs and recharged the soil. Spring and early summer were warm, leading to very strong growth in the vines. The rest of the summer was more typical with warm days and cool nights, providing perfect conditions for the developing grapes. Our yields for the season were slightly lower than average and the resulting wines are classic—with complex flavors and our signature brightness on the palate.

The Wine

This Dry Riesling is fresh and fragrant with gorgeous jasmine, honeyed white peach and grapefruit aromas. Dry, but succulent, the palate is powered by bright, mouthwatering acidity and a refreshing minerality that animates the wine’s long and lively finish.
