Our remarkable history in both wine and cuisine provides the foundation for our wine and food experiences. We hosted the Napa Valley Cooking Class for 25 years and Chef Kennedy ensures that his food pairings are both delicious and educational. These experiences take place in the Trefethen family’s former home and in the magnificent gardens that surround it.

Reserve Tasting at The Villa

This tasting features limited-production wines, including our award-winning Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. The Villa is the former Trefethen family home and these tastings are hosted at private tables on the Villa deck, overlooking our estate gardens. The inclusion of a charcuterie board with cured meats, local cheeses, and our own estate grown preserves provides a delightful experience of balanced flavors, enhancing the enjoyment of these special wines.

Taste the Estate at The Villa

Taste the Estate is our quintessential wine and culinary experience, highlighting the amazing synergy of great wine and great food. Guests enjoy five of our finest wines paired with sublime bites crafted by Winery Chef Chris Kennedy and often walk away with a heightened appreciation of the interplay of the flavors and textures of wine and food. This experience is offered outdoors on the Villa deck and at a private table in the garden.

Twilight at Trefethen

The evenings are glorious in the Napa Valley, and Twilight at Trefethen is perfect for guests that are looking to celebrate a special occasion or simply want to relax in a fully private setting. With only one booking available each night, you will have the estate to yourselves for a private tour followed by the full Taste the Estate experience - five of our finest wines paired with sublime bites crafted by Winery Chef Chris Kennedy. Offered every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening (other nights upon request).
